CLEARING & SITE PREPARATION / BUNNELL & FLAGLER
Clear the area. Set up the next stage of work.
A brush-covered lot, a demolition area and a new home site need different plans. Start with the property location, what is there now and what happens after our part of the work. Include the areas to keep, the access available and any plans or approvals already in place. That gives the quote a defined starting point and finish.
Demolition
Identify the structure or surface to be removed, its approximate dimensions and nearby features that must remain. Share known utility information, access limits and the status of plans or approvals. State whether debris removal is needed.
Request demolition ↗Grading
Describe the area, current slope or uneven ground and the intended use. Include water-flow concerns, any target levels or plans, and whether material needs to be brought in or taken away.
Request grading ↗New construction site prep
Give the parcel or site address, the planned build and the work needed before the next trade starts. Identify clearing, grading, debris removal or material needs and which plans, survey details or approvals are available.
Request site preparation ↗Tree removal
List the number and approximate size of the trees and their position near buildings, fences or lines. Include vehicle access, what must remain and whether removal of the resulting debris is part of the job.
Request tree removal ↗Dirt delivery
Explain what the material will be used for, the location, estimated amount if known and the delivery route. Material type, quantity, unloading location and truck access need to be agreed before delivery.
Request dirt delivery ↗Stump grinding
Give the number, approximate diameter and position of the stumps. Mention gates, nearby structures, irrigation and known underground features. Describe the finish you want after grinding and how the material should be handled.
Request stump grinding ↗Clearing, grading and construction-ready are different scopes.
Say whether you need brush removed, a surface leveled, material delivered or preparation for a particular plan. Do not assume one task includes every other stage. Identify debris handling, the intended finish and responsibility for applicable approvals and utility coordination before agreeing to the work.
